Site selection and development team
With development expertise spanning all continents of the globe, the team is responsible for identifying markets and ensuring speed and scale is achievable. They maintain perpetual site selection programmes that involve every corner of the Yondr business. When viewing a site, they are tasked with ensuring all aspects of a live operational campus are considered.
DC operations
The best-in-class operator to critical services, they guarantee client satisfaction and uptime of our facilities, ensuring no SLA breaches. They work directly with clients and Yondr’s trusted supply chain partners, to maximise the use of best available technologies.
Engineering
Leading the design for all Yondr’s data centers, they set standards for future projects, defining and overseeing continuous improvement of our Blueprints as well as supporting Operations. The team also manage Yondr’s R&D initiatives, and create new standards for the outputs, such as location and climate specific solutions as well as more sustainable solutions.
Delivery
They are the cornerstone of turning ideas into reality and have over 400MW of hyperscale build and commissioning under their belts. They run IPD (integrated project delivery) projects at scale and ensure that all supply chain partners are at the table from inception through to commissioning and client handover.
HSE and sustainability
Critical to our business, the team ensures our global processes and procedures are followed with absolute precision, wherever in the world we have operations. Yondr doesn’t lower the bar for H&S or welfare, regardless of local practice or custom. Yondr’s H&S measures look beyond accident statistics to drive health, safety and wellbeing performance with data lead actions. This team is also responsible for sourcing ethical suppliers, identifying best practices to lead the industry forward, and reducing our carbon footprint.
Security
Security is often an afterthought, added to data center designs after the rest of the work is done. Not so at Yondr. The security team along with trusted partners are contributors and approvers from initial site selection threat assessment, through campus planning, facility design and commissioning. This end to end view is critical to Yondr delivering truly secure campuses with our clients’ security top of mind rather than an afterthought.
Technology
Responsible for the turn up, expansion and refresh of data center capacity, the technology team operates in new and live environments. The live environments team move clients into their new space and assist with all Adds, Moves and Changes (AMC). With steadfast attention to detail, they manage all day two projects ensuring DC resilience, reliability and security. They oversee every aspect of DC campus expansion, from small works through to large scale new build infrastructure works.
The tech space turn up team takes accountability for clients’ bespoke tech space DC fit out needs. Working alongside our GC partners they ensure all aspects of the DC design and construction sequence are aligned to the individual commissioning and turn up needs.
